Moulded & Extruded Rubber Products and O-Ring Cord This specification describes products composed of dense elastomeric Synthetic Rubber / silicone rubber that are fabricated into gaskets and accessories (such as setting blocks, spacers, and shims) for use in sealing and glazing applications in building construction. These products are used to seal or serve as components of compression sealing systems between mechanically restrained surfaces in building construction and also as components in structural silicone sealant glazing systems.
ERIKS extruded o-ring cord is a cost effective and simple alternative for manufacturing custom size jointed O-Rings for static applications.
O-ring cord is available in diameters from 1mm to 30mm, in a range of elastomers including Nitrile(NBR), Viton(FKM), Silicone(VMQ), Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer(EPDM) and others on request.
